Green Engineers-ARISE Wins 2010 International CDIO Student Project Award

The Faculty of Engineering is proud to announce that our Green Engineers-ARISE club has won the 2010 International CDIO Student Project Award. It was announced in Montreal during the 6th International CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) Conference held at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, Québec, Canada during the period June 15-18, 2010.

Competing against 18 projects from universities across the world, Green Engineers-ARISE won the Second Place Award for their project entitled “Design and Implementation of an Optimal Wind Generator”.

The next CDIO Conference and Competition will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark from July 22 to July 25, 2011.
