NEW AT THE FACULTY

ACCESS TO A ROOM/LABORATORY

Using this check list complete all forms required to receive your keys.

• For offices

  Print and fill out a key request form and return it to your department/school secretariat.

  If you will not be working in a lab, print and fill out the Orientation for New Personnel form

• For laboratories

  Print and fill out a key request form and the card access form if necessary and return it to your department/school secretariat.

  Print and fill out the Orientation for Laboratory Personnel form and return it to your department/school secretariat.

  Read this important notice regarding after-hours access to laboratories

• For all

  Complete the online WHMIS course

  Read roles and responsibilities

• For laboratories

  Attend a laboratory safety course.

  Consult Laboratory Safety Manual (PDF).

Contact your administrative personnel of your department/school if you need any assistance or if you don’t have access to a computer.
