image

The Faculty of Engineering has established two annual competitions in entrepreneurship and innovation for undergraduate and graduate students respectively. Taking an innovative product, technology, or service that has been technically and scientifically validated within the scope of courses or research work as the basis, participating students are required to develop business plans for the possible commercialization of that innovation. These business plans must integrate commercialization, product development, marketing, and entrepreneurship components.

Two annual Prizes in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PEI) competitions for undergraduate and graduate students respectively. Cash prize of $10, 000 - $7,500 – $5,000 in each category. Starting with an innovative product, technology, or service that has been technically and scientifically validated, students develop a business plan for the possible commercialization of that innovation.
