Civil Engineering is a rewarding and challenging profession.
Primary endeavours of the civil engineer are building and maintaining the physical infrastructure of our society, as well as the utilization and conservation of natural resources for the benefit of humanity.
The majority of the infrastructure that surrounds us is the work of a civil engineer. Airports, Pipelines, Bridges, Sewage treatment plants, Buildings, Transportation systems, Dams, Tunnels, Harbors, Water distribution and wastewater collection systems, Industrial facilities, Water treatment plants, Irrigation channels are examples of application of civil engineering.
